• Property addresses and information you choose to provide about an inquiry, buying or selling plans, a home valuation, preferred area, budget, property type or appointment.
• Submission dates, request status, website language and advertising campaign details associated with an inquiry.
• Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and interactions, through website hosting, security, analytics and advertising services.

How We Use Information

We use inquiry information to respond to your request, contact you about the service you asked about, provide requested real estate information, arrange appointments and support related follow-up services. Website and advertising data help us understand website use and measure campaign performance. Security information helps operate and protect the website and prevent misuse.

We do not send promotional emails or SMS messages. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications, and this privacy policy does not provide marketing consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may ask us to stop optional follow-up or withdraw consent by contacting us; this may limit services that depend on that information.

Facebook and Instagram Lead Forms

You may submit information through Meta Instant Forms on Facebook or Instagram. Meta may transmit the details you submit to WiseHome. We handle the information we receive under this policy and use it for the inquiry or service described in the form. Meta's own privacy policy also governs its platform's handling of information. You can instead submit an inquiry directly on wisehome.ca.

Analytics and Advertising Technologies

The website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure website interactions and Meta Pixel to measure page views and successful inquiries for advertising performance. These providers may use cookies and similar technologies and receive technical information about your visit. This measurement is separate from using the contact details you submit to answer your inquiry.

The website's analytics event code does not send your name, email address, telephone number, property address or form contents as custom event parameters. This does not mean Google or Meta receive no technical information. Cloudflare provides website delivery and security, including Turnstile verification for form submissions. Necessary technologies also support secure administration and reliable operation.

You can manage cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through Google and Meta. Blocking these technologies may affect some website functions. This policy does not represent a cookie-consent control.

Information Sharing

Information is processed through the services used to deliver the website and handle inquiries. Cloudflare hosts the website and processes website requests and form verification. Website inquiry details pass through a Cloudflare service to Google Apps Script and are stored in Google Sheets. Google also provides GA4 analytics, while Meta provides Facebook and Instagram lead forms and Meta Pixel advertising measurement.

These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Information may be processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction where it is handled. Data Retention and Security

Our retention policy is to keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, related business needs or applicable legal requirements. The period depends on the record and the service involved; this policy does not set a fixed retention period or promise automatic deletion.

Reasonable safeguards include HTTPS transmission, server-side verification of new website form submissions and authenticated requests to the form-storage service. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. Contact us for questions about retention or to request deletion, subject to applicable requirements.

Privacy Rights and Contact

You may contact Howard Yang to request access to your personal information, ask for a correction, request deletion where permitted by applicable law, withdraw consent or raise a privacy concern or complaint.
